Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Thomas Alva Edison would have given up after failing at his first attempt of making a bulb? Even till today sunlight and moonlight would have been our dearest companions! But we have evolved and stepped into the world of electricity only because he did not give up. He got up, tried again, failed yet again, tried for several more times and finally tasted success and gave birth to a new era filled with light.
Don’t puncture your interest after reading the above lines. Hold your horses, this example is highly relevant for my upcoming message.
After reading the heading, your thoughts might have wandered away to the nearest petrol pump, but don’t worry you are still in Effervescent!
Whenever we achieve our goal, we must feel confident to move ahead and win more, not satisfied to settle. Settling is equivalent to saying no to success. When you achieve your dream, keep your next goal ready. Keep your next destination ready. Keep the spark of achievement alive.
Settling is equal to saying yes to mediocrity when you can put in that little extra effort and do wonders. Don’t underestimate your ability. Always have the attitude to keep achieving. Yes small breaks are required to re-strategize and come back better the next time but a hiatus takes away your urge to achieve. So take breaks only if you are willing to kick-start your next story of success.
The trajectory of your growth should always be pointing upwards. Intermediate upheavals are fine, but remember to extract learning from those moments and give your next performance a major boost.
People make tall claims that taking the first step is difficult. No. It is not. Any task is only as difficult as you think it is. Take the first step. If you like it, you will continue the next day without reminding yourself. It will become a habit.
Once you start something you love, stopping is not an option. Moving ahead and accomplishing must be your only option. Okay consider this. When an athlete proves his mettle in the 100m sprint race, what will he do next? Well, if he wants to reach the pinnacle of his career, he will make his way into the 200m category, next the 400m event and so on. He has realized that he can progress without stopping because he has it in him. The zeal to grow must keep soaring always.
The best part is that when you start achieving, it arouses a different level of confidence and enthusiasm in you. It re-vitalizes you and prepare you to welcome greater challenges with arms wide open. Winning becomes a habit. It transforms into an arena where you want to participate again & again and prove yourself everytime.
So the main takeaway for all of you is that don’t let the passion of achievement slip away from your hands. Don’t dilute your chance of accomplishing great things by pouring the liquid of complacency.
Be Hungry for Success. Be Voracious. Along with grabbing what comes your way, go out of the way and make a reach for everything that you believe you deserve. You will automatically be driven towards your next task when you make achievement a habit.
So remember to refuel your vehicle of victory with fresh energy every time you run out of interest. Refuel, Restart, Regain what is rightly yours.
Well now I have to refuel my vocabulary with new words for my next blogging expedition! See you!
