A plush sofa, a 56 inch LED TV screen, a bowl of caramel popcorn and COMFORT…… This is paradise for many and well, why shouldn’t it? A relaxed mind drives a relaxed body but one thing which is completely in our hands (before it slips out) is our decision of not mistaking relaxation for inactivity.
A lot of us tend to give our body more comfort than it essentially requires which is a factor in holding us back from surging forward towards our goal. All of us advise each other about how to not turn our mind into a devil’s workshop but one thing that remains in shallow water is how do we primarily do it ourselves and set an example for others.I have made an attempt to answer that question today.
It is said that when we want to achieve something wholeheartedly, the entire universe aids us to set our goals into motion. I would like to elucidate on exactly the same point. A dream is best experienced when we are awake rather than asleep. So, my point here is that we must be ready to give our body and mind some rigorous work when we want to see our dreams come true.
We must be ready to STING ourselves at times to keep going . Yes, we might experience pain but, it is momentary my friend. Pain only urges us to keep moving, eradicate stagnancy and shoot for the sky and beyond.
Only when we push ourselves out of our comfort zone, will we be able to get a head-start in our preparations because one thing that is clearly evident from all success stories is that until we aren’t ready to plunge into the ocean of effort and a lit bit of toil, neither will our body and mind nor the universe pressurize us to do it.
Until and unless we don’t prick ourselves whenever any milestone in our journey demands of us, we will not be able to reach our goal. Toil at the right time defies turmoil. We must be ready to move out of the ‘relax mode’ if we want to seriously delve deeper into our passions. Lets not repent about not being able to achieve something when we have the chance to refresh, restart and revolutionize.
So, in a nutshell I would like to convey that we must do what we want to when we have the time and not wait for time to race past us even when we are not ready to face the ‘Start line’. A few days of efforts will yield years of satisfaction and that is saying something.
Lets not feel that we relate to the saying,’Nothing ventured, nothing gained’. Lets relate to ‘blow away the cobwebs and blaze a trail’. Let us give ourselves this one chance and choice.
Lets reflect – A Sting and Stitch In Time Saves A Lot More Than Just Nine And Helps Us Stay Fine.
