A bit of grit won’t let you quit

If you have been following my posts regularly, then you will notice that there is a phenomenon as recurring as celebrity weddings in all my blogposts. That is – Don’t stop on the road to your goal. Keep an eye on the nitty-gritty and keep going. Regardless to say, this is not easy.

Indecisiveness in the driver’s seat, with the ensemble of a conductor donned by the ever-overbearing people’s mandate ( ironically, in our personal lives ) has mostly only lowered our morale rather than uplift it. Man, this way indeed it is a paramount task for the bus to reach the bus station. If I stop talking in metaphors, it simply means that the path is rosy, yet embeded with thorns. Ok, so this was a metaphor again. Speaking in layman’s language, the road is bumpy, but not if we enjoy the bumpy ride.

When we are on our road to success, speed-breakers are an inevitable occurrence. Its better to slow down and cross it with patience rather than rush past and experience the unnecessary jerk. Well it is a different case if our path resembles a highway. Even though sans jerks, it involves toll-gates which might take a toll on your expenses!

To spare my readers the boredom and myself of their exasperation, I will proceed to the epicenter of today’s post.

This year has been a cauldron, in which brewed not only bizarre situations but also happy realizations. 2020 has given a reality check of where we currently are and exactly what shackles we must break-through to reach our goal.

When you have a glance at this picture, it may seem as a normal stream. But when we have the vision to see something good in everything, we can obtain a divine learning from it. This stream wishes to flow free like the oceans but cannot because these rocks act as roadblocks to it’s desire. Nevertheless, it finds a way to be happy even in difficulty. It flows through these rocks without any chagrin and when it does, the rocks also help it produce a tinkling sound and shimmering sight which altogether beautifies it’s experience. That sound beckons nature towards it and all in all the stream steals the show.

This is exactly what we must do amigos! Follow suit and taste contentment. Smile through every difficulty and emerge unscathed and victorious. This post is filled with examples and the new year will be filled with content of your choice. Let me give you another example.

This is a railway track. Silly me, obviously it is. But it is also a path. A path which has many routes, yet one destination. Similarly, our goal can be reached through ample routes. It depends on us to explore all available avenues and choose what stands out for us. Let the path be habitual, or unexplored or even unconventional. If it goes down well with us, just go for it. Forget people, their talks and taunts for one moment and think that “how do I feel about it?” If good then go for it.

Even this picture pours out a lot of thoughts. This path is illuminated but most importantly, it is in the shape of ‘S’. S for Success, S for Satisfaction and S for STOP NOT. Keep going.

This new year brings with it yet another beginning, another chance to Revive and Retain, what is most dearest to us. Restore happiness, Remind ourselves of our journey. Reignite our very cause of existence, Reinforce value in our living and Reorient our thoughts towards achieving our goals.

The choice is ours as always. Outline our actions with grit and make headlines or quit. Don’t lose hope. Don’t give up. Don’t let your thoughts wobble. Finally, Don’t stop being yourself.

So with warm wishes of 2021, I urge you all to mean Happy New Year in its true sense. The year will be as happy as you are. Just so you know.

So come on folks, give what your goal takes and sit back. It’s offerings are on the way! To New Beginnings!

2020 ends but our journey goes on. Maybe we have already accomplished what we wanted to. That’s great. But find something new and start working. Because time doesn’t halt and life doesn’t stop surprising us, does it?
